TENADYE:TIME IS NOW

The "Tenadye: Time is Now" initiative, under the umbrella of Vital Living 501(c)(3), is a community-driven educational program focused on empowering the youth of Liberia through sustainable practices in education, agriculture, construction, and entrepreneurship. The program aims to build a resilient and self-sustaining community in Duanwein Village, located in Liberia, through the development of an eco-friendly, community-centered school and agricultural enterprise.
Our Mission
To empower vulnerable youth in Liberia, we aim to provide education, housing, healthcare, and entrepreneurial opportunities that embrace sustainability, ethic, and environmental stewardship. Our program focuses on building a sustainable school and community that fosters a strong connection with the earth through eco-friendly construction, organic farming, and cutting-edge technologies.

Introduce modern building and farming practices, using locally-sourced materials and sustainable methods.

Equip students with the skills necessary to contribute to their communities and support their own entrepreneurial ventures.
 
Program Goals
Compressed Earth Stabilized Bricks (CESBs) to construct environmentally-friendly and durable classrooms, kitchen facilities, and restrooms.
Provide quality education to underserved youth in Duanwein Village and surrounding areas

Create a sense of ownership and pride within the community by involving youth in the construction process of the school and farm.

Provide Community Development resources and opportunities for local entrepreneurs in the fields of building, agriculture, and arts, encouraging community-driven economic development.
 

Current Projets
- 
Sports & Leadership: Support local sports teams, such as the Mighty Eagles soccer team, fostering teamwork, leadership, and personal development.
 
- 
Continue the development of a one-acre pepper farm to generate income for the school while providing hands-on learning opportunities for students.
 
Construct the main school building, including classrooms, a kitchen, and restrooms, using locally sourced Compressed Earth Stabilized Bricks (CESBs) to minimize environmental impact.
